A Step-By-Step Guide For Upgrading Your Hydration Strategy

time to read | 6 minutes

Welcome to The Whipple Effect, a bi-weekly newsletter that helps creative men find focus through sobriety and create a life they love through holistic productivity.

👋 Hey friend,

What if the water you’re drinking is holding you back?

If you’re still drinking tap water, you’re not serious about your health.

Hydration is the key to creativity and productivity.

Spring water is the ultimate hydration choice for content creators. In this Letter, we’ll explore how switching to spring water will enhance your hydration and performance. You'll learn why it matters and what steps to take for optimal vitality. It took me years to understand how essential hydration is.

In 2008, I switched to spring water and never looked back.

Let's dive in 🤿

The Hidden Problem: Dehydration

As a content creator, you face challenges every day.

Whether you’re brainstorming new ideas, recording videos, marketing email campaigns, or managing social media, your mind and body are constantly in demand. Yet, within the hustle, one issue is holding you back: dehydration.

This has consequences on your performance and wellbeing.

Without proper hydration, your body can’t function at its best. Your energy levels drop, your cognitive function suffers, and your creativity crashes. This results in brain fog, reduced focus, and decreased productivity.

Basically, the world ends, and you're dead!

Yes. That's right. You die.

🤭 ( just kidding )

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ 🦋 ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

🚱 Dangers of Tap & Bottled Water

Tap water is ruining your creative potential.

& most bottled water is a complete waste.

You might think grabbing a glass of tap water or a bottle from the store is enough to stay hydrated. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Tap water contains chemicals like chlorine and fluoride, which negatively affect your health. These additives ( intended to purify the water ) actually disrupt your body’s natural balance and lead to long-term health issues.

Bottled water isn’t much better.

Plastic bottles leach harmful chemicals like BPAs into the water, especially when exposed to sunlight or stored for long periods ( light and time work against water ). Bottled water lacks essential minerals found in natural spring water, making it less effective at hydrating your body.

What’s the result?

You’re drinking water that doesn’t truly nourish you. Instead of feeling energized and clear-headed, you’re left battling fatigue and brain fog. This subpar hydration makes it harder to achieve your goals and perform at your best.

🚱 Deeper Dangers Bottled Water

☔️ Sorry to keep raining on your parade.

But I gotta keep it 100% real with ya. Like I mentioned earlier, most plastic bottles leach chemicals like BPAs. These are disruptors to our endocrine systems. I'm talkin hormones. Xeno estrogens. Man boobs. Cancer. Death.

Think I'm being too extreme?

Think again, my friend.

It's crazy how common it is that people buy single-use bottles of water from gas stations and stores. Those bottles have three major things working against them.

  1. time

  2. light

  3. toxins

⏳ Water gets worse with time.

The longer it sits, the more it becomes stagnant. So companies have to kill the water so it doesn't grow bacteria. This makes the liquid less hydrating.

☀️ Water gets worse in light.

It's called photo-degradation. For this reason, companies again have to kill the water, otherwise it would grow green with new life. Now look at those stacks of bottles waiting for you under the fluorescent lights or getting blasted by the summer sun.

Not only are they less than excellent,

↳ they're leeching chems into you.

↳ they're an environmental disaster.

Now, I don't mean to sound like a leftist hippy, but the plastic situation is out of control. It is okay to consume bottled water sometimes. We just shouldn't make a habit out of it. I drink bottled water on occasion. I'm grateful for it. Moderation is the key.

Seek out water bottled in glass when possible.

Mountian Valley Spring Water is a viable option.

🚱 Deeper Dangers of Tap Water

Do you like drinking drugs, piss, and shit?

That's what you're doing if you drink tap water. It contains trace amounts of contaminants like pharmaceuticals, used toilet paper, tampons, and anything else flushed down the drain. That's because water has memory. Now, this is gonna get esoteric.

👿 what the critics would call, pseudoscience.

But believe me, water is more than you think.

It's the universal solvent. Natures solution to pollution is dilution. That's why fresh spring water is so pure. It's also why the liquid coming outta taps is less than excellent. Water absorbs the imprint of things ( or energies ) it comes into contact with.

They say "You are what you eat."

It's even more true that you are what you drink.

You don't wanna be called a shithead, do you?

Don't just take my word for it

🧪 My Backstory & Esoteric Research

Spring water is leagues apart from anything else.

I learned about spring water 16 years ago. Two men, Daniel Vitalis and David Wolfe, taught me about it. There's a website called Find A Spring where you can find a spring in your local area. So I visited the nearest one in Portland Oregon.

It was a life changing experience.

Since then, I've traveled a lot and visited hundreds of fresh springs to drink pure water at the source. This is living water, not to be confused with the inert liquid flowing out of the household tap or the plastic bottle.

Now lemme introduce you to another man.

Viktor Schauberger, an Austrian naturalist, philosopher, and inventor, was known as The Water Wizard. He was known for his radical views on water and natural energy. He had unique perspectives on water, likening it to blood in the human body. His book explores water's essential role in the environment and its significance for all life forms.

Schauberger's writings will inspire you.

Another mention should be made here.

Check out the research of Masaru Emoto.

He is known for his claims on the effects of human consciousness on water. His experiments involved exposing water to different stimuli and freezing it to see the formation of crystals, which reflected the water's response. In my view, he proved that water is a living entity and responds to our thoughts and feelings.

These men should serve to open your mind.

💦 The Importance of Hydration for Creators

Springs have been sources of vitality for centuries.

Our ancestors relied on spring water for its health benefits.

Imagine the clear, refreshing water flowing from a mountain spring, filled with essential minerals and free from contaminants. This kind of water is unlike what you find in taps and bottles today.

Spring water beats tap water every time.

Why should you switch to spring water?

Hydration isn’t just about drinking enough. It’s about the quality of the water you consume. Spring water is naturally filtered through the Gaian matrix and is mineral-rich. It provides your body with pure, clean hydration that supports optimal function.

Let’s talk about why this is key for content creators.

💡 5 Reasons to Switch to Spring Water

Here are the top reasons why spring water will

↳ transform your hydration and performance:

1. Increased Energy and Mental Clarity

The minerals in spring water, like magnesium and silica, reduce fatigue and brain fog, helping you maintain focus and creativity throughout the day.

2. Improved Physical Stamina

Spring water supports muscle function and cellular hydration, which is key for creators who balance work with an active lifestyle.

3. Enhanced Detoxification

Pure spring water aids the body’s natural detox processes, which are essential for maintaining peak performance and preventing burnout.

4. Connection with Nature

Drinking spring water connects you to the earth’s natural cycles, fostering a sense of wellbeing and inspiration that fuels creative work.

5. Avoidance of Contaminants

Spring water is free from harmful chemicals found in tap and bottled water, promoting long-term health and vitality.

Making the Switch Effortless

Switching to spring water is easy.

I'm gonna show you how. Let's run a thought experiment. Pretend we're going from shit → shine-ola.

  1. At worst, you're drinking tap water.

  2. Get a filter at home for your water.

    • a filter for the pipes under the sink

    • one on the counter that you pour from

  3. Get containers and refill at the health store

    • get a stand or make room on a counter

    • containers come in 3 or 5 gallon sizes

    • non-BPA plastic is okay

    • glass is preferable

  4. Fill up fresh living water at a local spring.

    • use the website Find A Spring

    • use a ceramic stand to dispense

    • store backup containers cool and dark

✨ This is The Whipple Water Workflow™️

Remember that living water needs to be kept cool and dark. If you have a few containers, like I do, keep the ones not currently in use out of light and heat, and don't let them sit there for months. They will go bad in time, so plan to refill once a month or so.

😅 Enjoy the benefits of superior hydration.
