The Chile South America 2019 Travel Experience

2017 was my first total solar eclipse.

I was instantly enchanted. Nothing could’ve prepared me for what I saw. It made me feel all the things.

Never thought I’d be an eclipse chaser.

But I became an instant Umbraphile.

So I traveled to Chile two years later to be under the shadow of the next TSE. It was an epic adventure that further established my love for TSEs. You can watch the vlog on my YouTube channel. To this date, it’s still my favorite video.

That experience changed me.

It taught me about the world.

What Most People Don’t Know About Why the World is Crazy

I’m not well-adjusted.

It took me a while to accept this, but I’m happy to admit it now. The world is getting crazier by the day, and it’s not just my opinion. Other people agree with me when I talk with them candidly, though they don’t usually reveal this openly.

Maybe you’ve noticed the trend too.

Some reasons:

• traffic jams

• alcohol abuse

• nagging wives

• 24/7 leaf blowers

• urban environments

• insufferable sitcoms

• constant construction

• bad drivers (tailgaters)

• social media algorithms

• rampant teen horniness

• poor working conditions

• low income slave wages

• poisons in the food chain

• toxins in the water supply

Seriously though. Most people have target fixation. They lack perspective and patience. They’re angry and don’t know how to calm the fuck down. They’re addicted to substances and distractions.

Overworked, underpaid, stressed out.

They’re literally foaming at the mouth.

We’re all scrambling in a rat race. We’ve all been conditioned to be consumers of crap. On top of all that, the puppet masters tell us to be obedient and wear our little masks.

But there’s a better way.

There’s a different path.

How Total Solar Eclipses Can Heal You & Bring Harmony to the World

You can find peace and joy in many ways.

• Practicing positive affirmations

• Engage in hobbies you love

• Practicing deep breathing

• Learning something new

• Reading inspiring books

• Listen to calming music

• Practicing self-care

• Practicing yoga

• Start a family

• Meditations

• See a TSE👀

My personal favorite is that last one.

There’s something transcendental about being under the shadow. In it, you’re dwelling in the magnificence of the divine creator’s generosity, and you feel an ultimate interconnectedness. It’s absolutely exhilarating.

Seeing one really puts things in perspective.

It opens your heart wide, like an MDMA trip.

It opens your mind to the wonder of life.

It inspires curiosity to explore more.

I believe it’s an antidote to chaos.

At the time of this writing, I’m in Texas.

The total solar eclipse is about to happen on April 8th. I’m here with my wife and our 7 month old baby boy. It’s been a helluva journey to get here. I’m honored to share it with you.
